Save Comments

On December 31, 2016, the Engrade.com product will no longer be available for use. This includes users signing up for new accounts and logging into existing accounts. We highly recommend logging into your Engrade account and extracting all account data prior to December 31, 2016. Learn more.

This topic covers how to save your class comments. You can either copy the comments from Engrade, and paste them into another source (such as Microsoft Word), or you can take screenshots of the comments and save them to your computer.

  1. First, select a class from your Active Classes page.

  2. Select Comments from the left sidebar.

You may have to click More to view the expanded list of options in the left sidebar. If you still do not see Comments as an option in the More section, click Settings on the left sidebar and navigate to the Apps tab. In the pop-up window, make sure Comments is checked, and click the Edit Class Apps button.

  3. Select Edit next to a student's name to access their comments.

  4. In the pop-up window, highlight and copy the comments for the selected student. Then, paste these comments into a Microsoft Word document (or similar source).

  5. Alternatively, you can take a screenshot of the page and save it to your computer. Depending on your operating system, the command for taking a screenshot may vary. See this site for additional assistance with taking screenshots for your OS.

  6. Repeat this process for each student in your class.

  7. Next, repeat this process for all Active, Archived, and Trashed classes in all Grading Periods in your account.
